Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopy and gastrointestinal procedures.
- Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient vital signs and status before, during, and after procedures.
- Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and supplies for GI procedures.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Experience or certification in endoscopy or gastrointestinal nursing preferred.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Knowledge of medical equipment related to endoscopy and GI procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in endoscopy or gastrointestinal nursing settings.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- CPR and ACLS certification.
