Full-time, Days shift, 12.5-hour shifts, working 7 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide licensed nursing care to inmates within a correctional facility
- Administer medications and monitor patient health status according to prescribed treatment plans
- Document all patient interactions and treatment activities accurately
- Follow strict security protocols, including restrictions on personal electronic devices within secure areas
- Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure a safe and compliant environment
- Work every other weekend to maintain consistent patient care coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Prior experience in correctional or jail healthcare settings preferred
- Ability to adhere to security and confidentiality protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing patient care in a secure environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
