Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Administer emergency care to patients in the ER setting
- Work rotating shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, including some call shifts of 24 hours
- Utilize Meditech 6.0 electronic medical records system (preferred)
- Provide care while adhering to infection control protocols, including flu vaccinations (required)
- Collaborate with healthcare team to prioritize patient needs during high-pressure situations
- Follow established policies for patient safety and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
- Previous ER experience, preferably as a traveler
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and be available for call shifts (24 hours)
- Experience with Meditech 6.0 EMR system (preferred)
- Must have current flu vaccination (no exceptions)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong background in emergency medicine
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Excellent team communication skills
