Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mental health support and crisis intervention in an emergency room setting
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans in collaboration with medical teams
• Document patient interactions accurately using the facility's electronic health record system
• Float within scope to meet the facility’s needs, ensuring coverage across departments as needed
• Comply with facility policies and maintain professional standards of care during all shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alaska license as LMSW or LCSW (pending license accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care or ER experience
• Ability to work night shifts and meet the schedule requirements
• No restrictions on first-time applicants
• Certification as required by Alaska licensing standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level II Trauma or Magnet hospital setting
• Experience working in a fast-paced acute care or emergency environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system
