Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Lexington, KY
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, weekends included (Friday or Saturday nights)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized intensive care to critically ill patients, including those with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
• Manage airway, ventilated patients, and administer continuous IV sedation and vasopressors with titration as needed
• Monitor and interpret ABGs and cardiac dysrhythmias; manage complex patient conditions and interventions
• Handle central line management, IV drips, and airway management, including artline management (preferred for ER)
• Follow strict isolation precautions and maintain accurate computerized documentation
• Triage patients in ER or ER Holding units, ensuring prompt and appropriate care
  Required Qualifications:
• Valid RN license with recent clinical experience (minimum 1.5+ years) in ICU or related specialties
• Strong neuro care experience required
• Certifications such as NIHSS, ACLS, BLS
• Ability to manage ventilated patients, dysrhythmias, and multisystem organ failure
• Experience with airway management, IV management, and patient monitoring protocols
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Prior travel nursing experience in ICU settings
• Experience managing post-operative neurosurgeries, thoracic surgeries, fempop, or CEA patients
• Knowledge of computerized documentation systems and triage processes
