- Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to adult patients with medical conditions, including diabetes, renal issues, COPD, abdominal concerns, and cancer patients not currently receiving chemotherapy
- Manage patients requiring interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, passing Relias EKG exam is mandatory
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs
- Adhere to staffing ratios of 1:6 and ensure compliance with all unit guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, Magnet & Teaching Hospital environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Missouri
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in Medical-Surgical units
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Ability to pass Relias EKG exam with dysrhythmia interpretation/management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in telemetry or cardiovascular units preferred
- Knowledge of acute medicine populations, including chronic conditions like DM, renal issues, COPD, and abdominal concerns

Additional Details
- Pending license accepted; license must be valid before start
- Guaranteed hours; no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract

- Performed at a Level I Trauma Center with extensive staffing and resources
- Parking available with options including monthly passes; orientation parking at a fee of $15, with specific instructions for night or rotation shifts
Note: The hospital does not care for surgical patients; focus on medical conditions. Flexibility with floating within scope is required. Candidate must reside at least 75 miles from the facility unless pending license is valid.
