Schedule / Job Type

• Overnight shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week, contract position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to a mixed acuity cardiac and hospitalist patient population, including diagnoses such as CHF, arrhythmias, ACS, heart valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension
• Perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/ICD placement, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardioversion
• Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac conditions, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a magnet and teaching hospital setting
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EPIC electronic charting system
• Maintain safety and adherence to infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license, pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in telemetry or cardiac unit
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Weekend rotation every other week
• Willingness to float within scope as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced cardiac procedures and diagnostics
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
• Prior experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital
