Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acuity-adaptable ICU unit caring for medical surgical, progressive care, and intensive care patients.
• Adapt to varying patient ratios based on acuity, typically ranging from 1:2 to 1:5.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality, safe patient care.
• Chart patient progress and interventions accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Participate in patient assessments and respond to changing clinical conditions.
• Support unit operations and ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of ICU experience in an acuity-adaptable setting.
• ICU certification and full licensure in the state of Indiana.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Able to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• No travel restrictions; must work during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
• Located within the state of Indiana; out-of-state candidates will not be considered.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hybrid medical/surgical and ICU environment.
• Comfortable managing higher patient ratios and acuity levels.
• Strong charting skills in Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
