  • Nights, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care to high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients, including those with complications such as previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, prematurity, twins, and substance use disorder in pregnancy
  • Perform sterile speculum exams, assist with bedside amnio and sterile procedures
  • Maintain and manage central lines, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps (Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate)
  • Circulate during labor and delivery procedures, including C-sections
  • Support maternal care for fetal demise, pregnancy loss, and postpartum mothers with NICU babies

Required Qualifications

  • Active compact license valid in all Swedish facilities (or eligible for travel contract if separated for 3+ months from non-Swedish facilities)
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience supporting postpartum and antepartum care
  • Certification in BLS, NRP, and Advanced AWHONN (required)
  • Ability to work in high-risk antepartum environments and handle complex obstetric cases

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with C-sections and intermediate AWHONN certification
  • ACLS certification (preferred)
  • Experience with IV therapy, central line management, and medication administration in obstetric settings
