Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
- Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately using electronic medical records.
- Participate in unit rounding and respond promptly to patient needs.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including floating protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS, ALCS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Valid South Carolina or multistate RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of experience working with Epic EMR system.
- For new travelers, a minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience is required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting.
- Familiarity with Prisma Health policies, including floating procedures.
- Ability to quickly adapt to different units and demonstrate competency.
