Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a busy Level 2 Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care for high-acuity emergency cases
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions and treatments in the electronic medical record system
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and clinical standards including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Ensure compliance with all required vaccinations and screenings, including two-step PPD and flu shot

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Maryland or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a hospital Emergency Department
• Valid EPIC electronic health record system experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center or high-acuity setting
• Previous experience in a high-volume ER with 220+ patients daily
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently
