Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shifts, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in a dedicated Heart Failure / Stroke unit for patients with neurological and cardiac conditions.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed to ensure optimal patient coverage.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and neurologists to maintain high standards of care.
- Manage complex neuro-cardiac cases with compassion and expert attention.
- Adhere to facility policies, safety regulations, and documentation standards using Meditech EMR.
- Work 12-hour night shifts, including holidays and every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in nursing.
- Current Alabama or Compact State Registered Nurse license (no temporary licenses).
- BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty field.
- Valid NURSYS verification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working on a Neuro or Cardiac unit.
- Ability to float between multiple hospital units.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
