Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to a diverse patient population in a busy home health setting
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress using electronic medical records (EMR) software
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home management strategies
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with clinical, department, and regulatory standards
• Participate in a positive team environment promoting communication and teamwork

Required Qualifications

• Degree from a CAOTE-accredited school in Occupational Therapy
• Current Maryland state licensure or eligibility to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience (applicants with inpatient or skilled nursing experience will be considered)
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
• Experience with documentation and EMR systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Lymphedema management experience considered a plus
• Passion for continuing education and lifelong learning in healthcare
• Ability to build long-term relationships with patients and deliver personalized care
