Schedule / Job Type
- Part-time, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit, with occasional float to various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders
- Work primarily a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend required
- Maintain proficiency in Epic EMR system (refresher courses or one-on-one sit-downs are not options)
- Read and interpret Telemetry monitors and stepdown patient data, with competency testing on day one
- Follow hospital protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum of 3 years recent/current Telemetry and/or Stepdown Nursing experience
- Proven proficiency in Epic EMR system (must pass competency testing)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in diverse Med-Surg units such as Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, or Observation units
