Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Rotating shifts, full-time, 12-hour nights with some days, weekends required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to labor and postpartum patients, including high-risk cases
- Assist with deliveries and maternal/neonatal care in postpartum and GYN units
- Monitor fetal status using fetal monitors and centralized monitoring systems
- Support postpartum mom and baby care, as well as GYN surgical post-op care
- Float between L&D, newborn nursery, and NICU as needed
- Follow unit-specific procedures and documentation protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and GYN care
- CPR/BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Ability to work night shifts and some days, flexibility for weekends
- Must badge in and out at the facility; navy blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with STABLE protocol (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with OBIX documentation, electronic medical records (such as EPIC)
- Willingness to float to NICU and nursery units

- Candidates must have a clean work history with no Sanford Health employment in the past 6 months and must disclose if previously worked there
- Shift includes weekend rotations and possible float to related units
- Orientation provided: 36 hours for travelers
