Job Title

• Travel, 13-week contract, Nights shift

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized critical care to ICU patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Manage patient assessments, medication administration, and invasive procedures such as central line placements and intubations
• Monitor and operate ICU equipment, including ventilators and cardiac output monitors
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech electronic health record system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital policies on floating, dress code, and infection control

Required Qualifications
• Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, preferably with surgical and oncology patients
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with ICU equipment including ventilators, dialysis catheters, and cardiac monitors
• Ability to perform procedures such as bedside thoracentesis, dialysis cath placements, and cardioversions

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocols
• Meditech electronic medical record system experience
• CCRN certification is preferred
