Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Weatherford, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a hospital setting
• Circulate during C-sections and assist in obstetric and neonatal procedures
• Monitor and support patient recovery and immediate newborn care, including the first hour after birth (golden hour)
• Document patient care using Meditech and CPN systems
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort
Required Qualifications
• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience in labor and delivery or maternal/newborn care
• Ability to circulate during C-section procedures
• BLS, NRP, WHONN certifications preferred
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Ability to scrub in for C-section surgeries
• Strong knowledge of postpartum and immediate newborn care
• Experience working in a high-volume labor and delivery unit
