Registered Nurse Oncology
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Oncology

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Days shift, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and telemetry monitoring.
- Ensure patient safety through accurate assessments, documentation, and safety rounds.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care aligned with hospital protocols.
- Rotate weekends and float as needed to support staffing needs.
- Adhere to unit policies, including infection control and chemotherapy handling procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Oncology experience and Chemotherapy Certification (ONS Chemo preferred).
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in PCU or similar levels of care.
- Ability to read telemetry and monitor titration of IV drips.
- Ability to perform infrequent bone marrow biopsies is a plus.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience preferred.
- Knowledge of CAR-T therapies and advanced transplant procedures.
- Strong assessment skills and ability to operate bedside monitors and electronic documentation systems.
