Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced ED setting
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; perform phlebotomy and IV starts
- Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on acuity
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of current ER or acute care experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required
- Successfully pass the required Pass/Fail EKG exam for all RN applicants at Cone Health
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC certification preferred
- Charge nurse experience highly desirable
- Experience in general and pediatric emergency care

Note: All travel nurses are required to float between all Cone Health campuses as needed. The role includes working every other weekend and holidays as required.
