Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Interventional Radiology unit, including stress testing procedures.
- Assist in patient care activities, ensuring safety and comfort during radiology procedures.
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and physicians to deliver quality patient outcomes.
- Follow unit protocols and procedures to maintain compliance and safety standards.
- Document patient care and procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- On-call shifts required, providing support outside standard hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Virginia or eligible for licensure.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Ability to work days from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in radiology or interventional procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically Meditech.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
