• Shift: 3x12-hour evening shifts, Fri-Sun

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including abdomen, pelvis, cardiovascular, chest, head, neck, musculoskeletal, spine, and specialized imaging such as MRA, MRV, MRCP, and other advanced imaging techniques
• Operate MRI equipment in accordance with department protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging
• Maintain patient care and comfort during imaging procedures
• Complete all charting and documentation using Cerner system
• Adhere to hospital policies and ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' MRI technologist experience
• Active MRI license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain one)
• ARRT-MR certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• On-call availability required
• Must have proficiency in abdomen, pelvis, cardiovascular, head, neck, musculoskeletal, spine MRI techniques and specialized procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I Trauma hospital experience
• Prior experience with advanced MRI procedures such as gradient echo, perfusion, MIP, multiplanar reconstruction, and surface coils
• Knowledge of acute care settings and patient management in a trauma center
