Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 4 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, microbiology, and other areas.
• Conduct quality control procedures to ensure lab accuracy and reliability.
• Communicate findings effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients as needed.
• Work independently and provide guidance to Medical Laboratory Assistants.
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to safety and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Board eligible by NCA or ASCP, with completion of certification within one year.
• 1-3 years of related laboratory experience or internship in clinical laboratories.
• Certification as an MT by ASCP or CLS by NCA within one year of employment.
• Proficiency with clinical laboratory instrumentation.
• Ability to work independently and lead laboratory routines.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in clinical chemistry, blood bank, hematology, or microbiology.
• Prior experience working in remote or rural laboratory settings.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety and compliance standards.
