Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, temp-to-hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care across multiple ICU units, including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID-19 units.
• Float to inpatient floors and non-critical care units based on census needs, with ratio guidelines of 2:1 in ICU and no more than 1:3 on inpatient floors.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and utilize critical care procedures as required.
• Respond to emergency situations, including patient sitters if needed, and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system.
• Work every other weekend as part of scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of experience in critical care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to float between different ICU areas and inpatient units.
• Strong independent nursing skills and adaptability.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with cardiac procedures such as hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, and vasoactive drips.
• Knowledge of CRRT and ventilator management.
• Additional certifications like CCRN, NIH, ONS, TNCC, CPI are a plus.
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma and triage is preferred.
