Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and treatment to pediatric patients in a pediatric acute care setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in a Level 1 trauma and NICU/PICU environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems.
• Respond to emergency situations within scope of practice as needed.
• Provide care in a hospital with a total of 400 staffed beds, emphasizing pediatric critical care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant respiratory therapy experience.
• NICU and/or PICU experience required.
• Valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
• Pending license accepted.
• Willingness to float within scope not required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a children's acute care hospital or similar facility.
• Knowledge of EPIC electronic charting system.
