Job Title
- Registered Nurse - PreOp

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shift, 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient vitals and assess patient condition before and after procedures
- Access ports, manage peripheral lines, and perform phlebotomy as required
- Start IVs and ensure proper patient preparation for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pharmacy, radiology, respiratory services, and others
- Support provider team with interpretation services, rapid response, and other ancillary services
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in perioperative nursing
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALs
- Experience with port access, peripheral line care, and IV placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in pre/post operative care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
