Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient occupational therapy services across all levels of acuity, including ICU and progressive care units.
• Evaluate patients and develop personalized plans of care that may include ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and activities to enhance functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, including discharge disposition recommendations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team of 19 professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments and therapy activities using Cerner Electronic Medical Records.
• Participate in weekend rotations once per month during the contract.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year occupational therapy experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Valid Indiana state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• NBCOT certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Manual Therapy and Lymphedema certifications/licenses.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
• Knowledge of inpatient rehab protocols for conditions such as cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, and respiratory illnesses.
