• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor and assess patients ranging from infants to geriatrics, managing acute and trauma cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and efficient flow of care.
• Float within scope of practice as needed to meet facility requirements.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols, including trauma and emergency procedures.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Valid WV or Compact RN license (pending licenses accepted with active license in hand).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications (CPI available through Qualivis and must be scheduled/obtained >1 week prior to start).
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
• Must have a perm address more than 100 miles from the facility; cases for 75-100 miles considered case-by-case.
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved exemption is provided.
• Flu shot required during flu season (October 1st – March 31st) unless medically exempted with documentation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar high-acuity emergency setting.
• Ability to manage high patient volumes, including psychiatric and boarding patients.
• Experience with rapid patient assessments and trauma protocols.
