Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
• Weston, WV
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contract (13 weeks)
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• 4 shifts per week, including every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to patients in a rural acute care facility, including telemetry, pediatric, and adolescent patients
• Float to various units including ICU and stepdown as needed to support patient care
• Collaborate with LPNs and utilize available resources, including House Supervisor support
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor patient vital signs and strips
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
Required Qualifications
• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience
• 1 year of experience in Stepdown and telemetry nursing
• Ability to read and interpret EKG strips
• BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS and PALS certifications (preferred)
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent care
• Charge nurse or leadership experience
