Schedule / Job Type

• Nights, Full-time, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg Telemetry, IMC, and Stepdown units.
• Float between Medical/Surgical Telemetry and Intermediate Care units, handling diverse patient needs.
• Care for patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in Epic electronic health record system.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety procedures, and patient care standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry/Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting.
• Prior experience on an IMC/Stepdown unit.
• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Recent Epic electronic health record system experience.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating across units.
• Must have flu shot and two-step PPD test completed (no exceptions).
