Registered Nurse Oncology
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing oncology treatments, including chemotherapy and supportive therapies
- Monitor patient responses and administer medications according to treatment protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record system
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and supportive care needs
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- Chemotherapy/Bio Certification through ONS
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in ambulatory oncology settings
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
- Previous experience working with solid tumor and hematologic malignancy patients
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with autoimmune diseases, iron deficiency, and supportive care in oncology
- Familiarity with open concept infusion units and acuity-based assignments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outpatient infusion environment
