• Nights, full-time, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, and stepdown units, including adult and pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient condition using telemetry and other medical equipment; interpret dysrhythmias and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications, perform procedures like IV starts, port access, and blood product management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety, infection control, and fall prevention.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Assist with unit operations and float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a high-acuity care setting preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac and ventilatory equipment.
• Experience with central lines, PICC lines, and IV management.
• Strong focus on infection control and patient safety protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and management.
• Familiarity with advanced airway management (CPAP, BIPAP, HFNC).
• Experience with wound care, surgical drains, and arterial line management.
