Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient dialysis nursing care to patients at a specified facility, with potential floating to additional locations as needed.
- Perform a variety of dialysis procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and maintain accurate patient documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Work flexible shifts including 8, 10, or 12-hour days or evenings as required.
- Participate in holiday coverage, including working 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day).
- Ensure timely and effective communication with the healthcare team and patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Vermont.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably within dialysis or outpatient settings.
- Recent EPIC EMR experience (within the past 2 years).
- Must be flexible with schedule and available to work various shift lengths.
- Reliable transportation, as public transit is not accessible in this area.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
- Experience working in outpatient dialysis units.
