Schedule / Job Type

• Days shift, Travel RN assignment, 13 weeks duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity emergency nursing care in a busy ER environment.
• Perform procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, and wound care.
• Assist with advanced procedures such as intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code responses.
• Manage care for patients with stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health needs.
• Conduct triage assessments, prioritize patient needs, and coordinate transports for higher levels of care.
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure detailed documentation in a fast-paced setting.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred).
• Strong triage, critical thinking, and trauma/cardiac alert experience, including STEMI, stroke, and sepsis care.
• Must be able to perform procedures and respond quickly in emergency situations.
• Valid and current RN license in the state of practice.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with a commitment of 3 shifts per week.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience using Meditech documentation system.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus but not required.
• Previous experience with trauma and cardiac alert protocols.
