Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

- McAllen, TX
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment
- Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, freestanding ER setting
- Perform procedures such as wound irrigation, IV/ Foley insertion, EKG, and splinting
- Monitor and assess patients, ensuring timely intervention and safety
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality patient care
- Document patient care accurately using the MEDITECH electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of adult and pediatric ER experience
- Valid medical certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI
- Able to perform basic procedures and use general ED equipment
- Willingness to be flexible and support team needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
- Prior experience with MEDITECH EMR system
