- 3 or 4 scheduled days per week, 12-hour day shifts (may vary depending on schedule needs)
- Night shifts available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a busy Level III Obstetrical Unit.
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to facilitate smooth patient flow and provide comprehensive maternal support.
- Adapt quickly to unit protocols and procedures, including EPIC charting.
- Float between related units such as postpartum as needed based on unit demands.
- Participate in a three-day orientation to familiarize with hospital policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license applicable to the state.
- At least 2 years of labor and delivery and postpartum experience.
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend (more as needed).
- Willingness to float between related units if required.
- Pending licenses accepted; must include all RTOS at application.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level III Obstetrical unit.
- Prior experience in high-volume birth environments.
- Comfortable with EPIC charting system.
