Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a 34-bed acute care unit specializing in Gastrointestinal and COVID Medical/Surgical treatments
- Monitor and assess patients, ensuring compliance with care plans and protocols
- Maintain telemetry capabilities and ensure all private rooms are properly equipped
- Adhere to hospital policies and standards, including emergency response procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Support hospital initiatives and maintain a safe, compassionate environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing within a specialized unit
- Current BLS certification
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Experience caring for adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations
- Prior experience in a telemetry-capable unit

Additional Notes
This role requires working two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve). Local candidates within 50 miles are not being considered for this assignment.
