Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

• Houston, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, temporary travel assignment, dayshift, 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
• Provide urgent care to emergency room patients in a fast-paced trauma facility
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as intubations and wound repairs
• Monitor patients using EMR systems and advanced equipment like ventilators and Lucas Devices
• Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to manage high-acuity cases
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and safety protocols, including weekend and on-call shifts
Required Qualifications
• Active RN license with at least 2 years of ER experience in a main ER setting
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC
• Proficiency with emergency procedures and equipment such as ventilators, lab devices, and airway management
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients independently in a team nursing environment
• Experience in trauma or freestanding ER is highly preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Paramedic license or certification
• Experience working with lab equipment like Picolo, Istat, and Triage Meter
• NRP certification
