• Travel, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on scientific nursing principles.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and document all medication administration.
• Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-treatment home care needs.
• Record patients’ medical information, vital signs, and monitor specialized equipment, adjusting as necessary.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, including life-saving interventions, in accordance with nursing standards.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatment, change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure accurate documentation of care provided.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to float between campuses as needed based on census.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for pediatric/adolescent patients on occasion.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR).
