Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Schedule / Job Type

• Days, Full-time, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the GI Lab and Endoscopy suite.
• Assist with procedures involving moderate sedation, including patient admission and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including passing an EKG test on the first day.
• Maintain proficiency with Olympus scopes and endoscopy supplies from various manufacturers.
• Document patient care and procedural details accurately in Epic EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois nursing license.
• CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of GI Lab/Endoscopy and/or Telemetry experience.
• Ability to pass an EKG test with 80% or higher on the first attempt.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Olympus scopes and endoscopy supplies.
• Knowledge of sedation procedures and patient recovery in a GI setting.
• Prior experience with Epic electronic medical records.
