- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays as assigned
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care to patients in a substance abuse treatment facility aged 18+
- Perform clinical assessments such as CIWA and COWS, administer urine analysis (UAs), and maintain professional boundaries
- Collaborate with a team to ensure patient safety and effective treatment during night shifts
- Follow facility policies regarding patient care without restraints and during voluntary admissions
- Utilize electronic health records system (HCS) for documentation and communication
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) certification
- Minimum of 12 months of prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or psychiatric setting with familiarity in COWS and CIWA protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous psychiatric care experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with substance abuse patients in inpatient settings

Additional Information
- EMR: HCS electronic health records system
- Dress code: Scrubs
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 nurse during night shift with additional tech support early in the shift
- On-call administration and medical staff at all times; no security on-site
- Visiting hours on Sundays from 1-4 pm
- Training includes 2-3 days of 12-hour orientation shifts until comfortable
