Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Conroe, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shift, Traveling (13 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and ensuring patient safety.
• Administer IV medications and monitor cardiac drips such as Dilitizem and Amiodarone.
• Interpret basic ECG rhythms and respond to changes accordingly.
• Manage post-cardiac catheterization and stent procedures, following established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with administering and monitoring IV cardiac infusions, including Dilitizem and Amiodarone.
• Basic ECG rhythm interpretation skills.
• Experience managing continuous BIPAP.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Acute cardiac care experience.
• Stroke care experience.

Additional Details:

• Scheduled for 12-hour night shifts, with four weekend shifts required per schedule.
• No on-call duties.
• Travel RN position for 13 weeks starting early January 2026.
• On-site at a hospital with a 22-bed unit, equipped with Welch Allyn vital signs machines, bedside monitors, telemetry, and BiPAP.
