Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care in an inpatient behavioral crisis stabilization unit
- Monitor and support patients aged 18-60+ with mental health conditions
- Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain safety standards for patients and staff
- Utilize electronic medical records system for charting and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Montana or compact state license as a Registered Nurse
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certifications active and on file at submission
- 2+ years of psychiatric nursing experience required; 3+ years for first-time traveler candidates
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Must meet all demographic documentation requirements at submission (full address, DOB, SSN, full name, email)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in inpatient behavioral health settings
- Ability to manage patient ratios of approximately 1:7-8
- Prior exposure to crisis stabilization units
