Full-time, 13-week contract, day shifts, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Perform clinical assessments and contribute to surgical post-op care.
• Assist with procedures such as wound care, NG tube management, Foley Caths, and feeding tubes when needed.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and treatments.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs, LPNs, and PCTs to ensure quality patient care and safe nursing practices.
• Adhere to unit policies, including emergency procedures and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience in medication administration.
• Ability to perform clinical assessments.
• Flexibility to adapt to unit needs and schedules.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with NG tubes, feeding tubes, Foley Catheters, and surgical drains.
• Wound care expertise.
• Proficiency in IV fluid and medication administration.
