Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and perform treatments such as blood draws, IV starts, and EKGs.
• Administer medications following facility policies, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.
• Respond to emergency situations, initiating resuscitation measures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with team members, and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Assist with patient transfer, coordinate testing, and support staff in maintaining safety and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• California licensed LVN or LPN nurse.
• Current BLS level CPR certification.
• Good physical health, stamina, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Dependable with a reliable attendance record.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and emergency procedures competently.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and basic office applications.
• Experience in emergency response and patient education.
