- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 4 shifts per week, contract position (13-26 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with severe injuries, traumatic brain injuries, spine injuries, neurological trauma, and other complex conditions.
- Administer Heparin drips, blood products, and manage IV lines including PICC, peripheral lines, and central lines.
- Perform wound care, tracheostomy management, chest tube management, and wound assessment.
- Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, oxygen protocols, and non-invasive airway management.
- Document accurately in EPIC and adhere to established safety protocols including PPE and isolation precautions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Medical-Surgical or similar high-acuity unit within the last 5 years.
- Experience with Heparin drips, PCA, and central line management.
- Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start.
- Comfortable managing patient ratios of approximately 1:6-7.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Management of neuro and spine surgeries, trauma, and complex wound care.
- Experience with Epic documentation system.

Additional Notes
- No RTO (Return to Office) after booking; no onsite work outside scheduled shifts.
- Floating to similar units and alternate inpatient locations may be required.
- Must be flexible with every other weekend schedule.
- Contract staff may be required to participate in storm or disaster response teams and may be reassigned mid-contract based on operational needs.
