Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient nursing care to adults with critical or potential life-threatening cardiac and multisystem conditions
- Monitor and manage patients with cardiovascular diagnoses such as sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease
- Administer IV antiarrhythmic therapies, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation as prescribed
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other units or campuses as needed, within qualified competencies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting
- Active SC or multistate RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
- Prior inpatient cardiac care experience in a community hospital setting
