Job Title
- Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
- Richmond, VA
Schedule / Job Type
- Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a main 8-west Medical/Surgical unit with progressive care and stepdown patients
- Monitor patient conditions and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
- Assist with patient transitions between levels of care as needed
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia
- Experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Medical/Surgical or stepdown setting
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
