Key Responsibilities
- Provide dialysis treatments for patients in hospital settings, including bedside and peritoneal dialysis.
- Float to various units and hospitals as needed within the facility.
- Adhere to dialysis ratios and equipment protocols, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
- Collaborate with Certified Dialysis Technicians to prepare and perform treatments.
- Follow facility policies and maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a valid compact license (no temp licenses accepted).
- AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in dialysis.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Professional nursing certification is preferred.
- Experience working with dialysis equipment such as Gabro and Fresenius machines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
