Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for ophthalmology patients in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and care
- Support surgical team during ophthalmic procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus in ophthalmology or related surgical specialties
- Current BLS certification
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
- Active RN license in the state of South Carolina
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an outpatient surgery center or ophthalmology setting
- Comfortable with flexible scheduling and potential cross-unit floating if needed

Additional Notes

- Work limited within a 60-mile radius; local candidates strongly preferred
- RTO requests must be included at submission and are subject to approval
- Hurricane season staffing may involve emergency response duties from June through November
Shift Details
- 8-hour day shifts, five days per week
