- Full-time, day shifts, rotating schedule (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in a Cardiovascular ICU unit.
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Conduct and interpret ECG rhythms; recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
- Complete assessments and documentation accurately during scheduled shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent ICU/Critical Care experience.
- Permanent Ohio nursing license or current compact state license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
- NIHHS certification.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a specialized ICU setting.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular and critical care protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
